Harnett County Lawyers
Like many other counties in North Carolina, Harnett County was formed from land originally belonging to another county, in this case, Cumberland. It was established in 1855 and named for Revolutionary War soldier and Continental Congress Delegate, Cornelis Harnett.
Throughout its history and in modern times, agriculture has been one of Harnett County’s primary industries. Campbell University was established in Buies Creek in 1887 and has been a point of pride for the area ever since. Today, Harnett County is part of the industrial development movement and broadening its economic base.
